- Ben married actress Christine Taylor on May 13, 2000.
- His film parody "The Hustler Of Money" caught the eye of Lorne Micheals who bought it and aired it on Saturday Night Live, where he eventually worked for a year.
- His parents are comedians Anne Meara and Jerry Stiller.
- Ben droppedout of UCLA and performed in the theatre production of 'The House Of Blue Leaves,' which won a Tony Award.
- Ben, along with friends Janeane Garofalo and Andy Dick, created a satirical show for television. The show was turned down by MTV but Fox picked it up. It was canceled due to lack of ratings, but the trio did win an Emmy for their work.
- When he was 10 years old, Ben starting making Super-8 movies about getting revenge on the neighborhood bullies.
